Northern Freegold Resources Ltd.(TSXV:NFR) announced the amendment of the terms of its previously announced brokered private placement. The placement announced on March 27, 2012 will now consist of flow-through units at $0.21 per unit.

Northern Freegold Resources Ltd.(TSXV:NFR) announced that it has started preliminary metallurgical testing of material form its Porphry gold-copper project. Northern Freegold have contracted SGS Canada Inc. to carry out the tests. The program is estimated to last three to four months.

Northern Freegold Resources Ltd. (TSXV:NFR,OTCBB:NFRGF,FWB:8NG) announced the first National Instrument 43-101 resource estimate for Revenue Deposit, part of their gold-copper Freegold Mountain Project in the Yukon, Canada. The NI 43-101 reports a newly defined Inferred Resource of 101 million tonnes of mineralized material containing 1.1 million ounces gold, 10.2 million ounces silver, 287 million pounds of copper, and 90 million pounds of molybdenum grading 0.34 g/t gold, 3.14 g/t silver, 0.13 % copper and 0.04 % molybdenum using a gold equivalent* ("AuEq") cut-off grade of 0.5 grams per tonne ("g/t").

Twenty seven drill holes of approximately 12,375 metres were completed at the Northern Freegold Resources Ltd. (TSXV:NFR,OTCBB:NFRGF,FWB:8NG) Freegold Mountain Project, Yukon. Highlights include multiple holes with mineralized intervals over 100 metres in length and in particular, hole RVD11-019 that returned 304.8 metres averaging 0.47 g/t gold, 3.68 g/t silver, 0.12% copper and 0.02% molybdenum, for a gold equivalent value of 0.95g/t.

Northern Freegold Resources Ltd. (TSXV:NFR) has closed the private placement announced on October 18th, 2011. A total of 349,168 units have been completed for gross proceeds of CDN $104,750. All the units were taken up by directors and officers of the Company.
