The Kwanika property comprises 9,400 hectares of mineral claims situated in the Quesnel Trough between the Kemess Mine and the Mt. Milligan deposit. Serengeti acquired a 100% interest in the property by staking in 2004, and made a potentially significant coppergold discovery in late 2006 with drill hole K-06-09 intersecting 111 meters grading 0.69% copper and 0.54 g/t gold.

Since the discovery, Serengeti has delineated a good grade copper-gold zone in excess of 1000 meters in length in 66 drill holes. A recent hole, K-08-62, in this zone intersected 610 meters grading 0.74% copper and 0.78% g/t gold. In addition, copper-molybdenum intercepts have recently been returned from a separate zone on the property.
