Hinterland Metals update on Lockout gold project
Hinterland Metals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:HMI) today announced that notable gold values were intersected in all 7 holes recently drilled on the Lockout gold project.
The press release is quoted as saying:
The property is located 100km due east of Quevillon, Quebec and is situated in the Barry-Urban Greenstone Belt 4km west of Eagle Hill’s Windfall project and 8km north of Metanor’s Barry open pit gold mine. The drilling tested geophysical targets and followed up positive drill results obtained by Hinterland in 2007. Gold mineralization is found along the upper and lower contacts of a graphitic unit within mafic volcanic rocks and appears to be related to porphyry dykes injected next to the contacts.
