Reuters reported that gold prices were headed for a weekly gain as Greek debt concerns waned.

Spot gold was at $1,727.30 an ounce at 1442 GMT against $1,728.40 late in New York on Thursday, and was set for a 0.2 percent rise this week, the first weekly gain since the end of January.
