The last one-year has brought in a clear-cut difference between gold exchange-traded funds and Fund of funds for investors who have been uncertain as to which of these funds is a better bet. In the last one-year, ETFs have done extremely well with 14% returns over last one year, but the two fund of funds that invest in gold mining companies have lost 5.18% and 13.49% respectively.
