India’s gold futures went higher on Wednesday on foreign cues and a weaker rupee locally, with analysts in commodity brokerages expecting more upsides.

Pooja Chhabria, an analyst with Ventura Commodities Pvt Ltd., stated:

Gold will move upwards today and tomorrow with occasional dips… the U.S. banks’ stress test results are likely to support it.
