Guinea Govt. ended undue pressure on miners
The Guinean Government has reached a deal with gold mining companies operating there, giving them a more stable operating environment and ending a spat over environmental standards.
Guinea Minister of Mines Mahmood Thiam stated:
We’ve reached an agreement that undue pressure wasn’t justified and it won’t happen again.
