Dime and Kodiak Properties – Yukon Territory, Canada

In January, Stina has announced an expanded 2011 exploration program on it’s Dime property, as well as a program on it’s Kodiak property in the highly active White Gold and South Klondike districts in the Yukon. The Dime property is 67 km southwest of Dawson City within the Ten Mile Creek placer gold area, and the Kodiak property is located 15 km south of Kinross Gold Corporation’s White Gold Deposit. Both properties are at an early stage of exploration but have produced positive exploration results during the 2009-2011 exploration programs.

Dime Property – Ten Mile Creek, Yukon Territory, Canada

The Dime property is the flagship property of Stina, showing tremendous potential in the red hot Ten Mile Creek Area of the Yukon. Earlier this year, PDAC Prospector of the Year for 2011 Shawn Ryan stated, ” The Dime property was the best new soil anomaly in the area last year.”

In 2009-2011 3,200 soil samples outlined three distinct gold anomalies over an area of 4.5 km. All three soil anomalies appear to be structurally controlled and associated with distinct gradient magnetic high-low contact lineaments. 657m of drilling in five core holes intersected gold mineralization in each hole, and 1,235m of trenching was conducted on two of the anomalies. Stina also acquired 180 additional ‘adjacent’ claims, bringing the total number of claims on Dime to 308.

Stina drilled an additional 14 holes in the summer of 2011 (2500m) and is awaiting results, which will be announced in the very near future. (total of 19 holes to date). Stina also soiled an additional 1,000 soils and trenched an additional 1,500 m.  Stina also did a magnetic airborne survey in the summer of 2011. Information is available at the Company website at www.stinaresources.com

The Dime boasts a soil system that is over 4.5km wide and 1.5km high, with 3 major anomalies (West, Central and East).

Stina has an option agreement with Ryanwood Exploration Inc. for 100% interest in the Dime property in the Ten Mile Creek area. The Dime property was formerly explored by Teck Cominco and Phelps Dodge and contains part of a former Teck target. Stina plans to continue exploration on the Dime in the spring of 2012.

Kodiak Property – Golden Saddle, Yukon Territory, Canada

Stina acquired a 100% interest in the Kodiak Gold Property in 2009. The property consists of 152 claims covering 30 square kilometers in the Yukon’s White District and ties to the southern side of Kinross’ (formerly Underworld’s) White Gold Property, south of Golden Saddle. The Kodiak claim block also straddles Thistle Creek, which produced more than 63,000 ounces of placer gold in the past.

A reexamination of the Geological Survey of Canada Database for similar positive indicators of white-style mineralization on the Kodiak property, found anomalous gold and arsenic levels in silt samples collected from streams that drain from the Kodiak property. The presence of elevated gold and arsenic values suggests potential for mineralization similar to that identified by Underworld.

Stina has recently completed an initial sampling program on the Kodiak, which could be fast-tracked if targets are identified as there is an access road and airstrip along Thistle Creek.

Work on Kodiak in 2009-2010 included 1,886 soil samples with values as high as 856.8 ppb gold and 383m of trenching, extending the Main Northwest trend to a strike length of 4,000m. An anomalous gold soil zone at the junction of the northerly Zipper Trend and the Main Northwest trend was also identified, as well as elevated nickel values in soil which occur either with or in the proximity of anomalous gold zones indicating underlying mafic or ultramafic rocks. A magnetic airborne survey was conducted on the property in the summer of 2011.

Bisoni McKay Vanadium Property – Eureka, Nevada, United States

Stina holds a 100% interest in the Bisoni McKay Vanadium Property that covers 764 acres encompassing 37 claims located approximately 32 miles southeast of Eureka, Nevada. A 2008 NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate on a 700 X 100 foot subsection of Northern Section A yielded 10.6M indicated short tons of vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) at 0.39% at a 0.2% cutoff grade. The estimate also reported an additional 9M inferred short tons of V2O5 at a 0.2% cutoff grade on a 600 X 500 foot subsection.

Northern Section A is approximately 2,000 feet long, extending to the south, open to the north, believed to be 600 feet wide and at least 600 feet deep. Bisoni McKay has a strike length of over 10,000 feet and was explored and drilled by several companies over the past 50 years, including Hecla, Noranda, and US Mines.

Stina has begun a scoping study at Bisoni McKay to understand the potential value of the project from a production perspective and to define the possible steps necessary to process the property ore and generate a vanadium product. Initial metallurgical studies indicate up to over 90% recovery of vanadium pentoxide (V205) using initial acid pug/ leach bench tests.

Additionally, an NI 43-101 qualified indicated and inferred resources of approximately 20M tonnes of vanadium pentoxide (V205), expandable in all directions has been identified. 5 core and 36 RC holes have been drilled in the past 6 years, indicating extensive and consistent mineralization with good grade, and defining a consistent mineralization zone. The property is potentially open- pittable with soft, easy to grind host rock close to surface, and potentially leachable. The Bisoni McKay is a potential North American pure vanadium supply for green technologies such as Redox Battery.

Upcoming new property

Stina has entered into an MOU with Royal Mines Inc., to explore a claim adjacent to the Quartette and Duplex Mines in Searchlight, Nevada in a joint venture arrangement with Callinex Mines Inc. The Quartette Mine was one of the major gold producers in the early 1900’s before hitting the water table, and Searchlight is considered a very strong gold prospect area once again. Royal Mines drilled the area to the south with 5 holes in 2007, hitting mineralization in all holes. The option agreement would see Stina and Callinex spend $100,000 jointly in the first year, and $900,000 within 3 years to earn a 70% and 40% interest jointly in 2 claim blocks. A final agreement if pending shortly.
